I always knew I wanted to focus my career on something related to languages to use them as my working tool. I was captivated by the idea of travelling across different countries and being able to communicate fluently in diverse languages, reading original books, as well as helping others with their communication with people from different backgrounds.
I somehow knew those experiences would open doors to other cultures, and give me different perspectives on life.
I finished my degree in Translation and Interpreting at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), in Barcelona, in 1998. Since then, I have been doing my dream job: translating. After all these years, I keep myself updated when it comes to the latest translation technologies, and I make sure I make time for carrying out appropriate CPD. My core values are responsibility, accuracy, confidentiality, and commitment.
